Sponge Premiere ‘Come In From The Rain’ Music Video; North American Tour With Spacehog Launches This Week!

Co-Headlining Tour with SPACEHOG Kicks Off This Week

New York, NY – (December 2, 2013) – In support of the group’s current single “Come In From The Rain”, the members of Detroit-based, gold-certified rock act – Sponge, featuring vocalist Vinnie Dombroski, Billy Adams (drums), Tim Patalan (bass), Kyle Neely and Andy Patalan (guitar), are thrilled to have their music video for the track premiering today at

“The concept was what if Marilyn Monroe did not die of the drug overdose but miraculously survived. She sheds everything about the old life/lifestyle and leaves it all behind (not in a Bubba Ho-tep kinda way),” Dombroski explains. “Pretty ambitious concept to nail down in a video however we thought the concept was something to pursue in a broader sense using a Marilyn Monroe type character who eventually sheds the facade walking away from the trappings of a destructive lifestyle.”

Directed by Steve Greene (SG Creative), the video can be viewed here:

To date, with 44 Commercial Rock Radio stations having added “Come In From The Rain”, and over 1.25 million in audience from Monitored Mediabase Rock Outlets, the single continues to receive solid support from stations such as WIIL/Chicago, WRIF/Detroit, WJXQ/Lansing, WWBN/Flint, WZBH/Salisbury and many others. The band will be visiting many radio outlets while on the road including WMMR in Philadelphia where the band will visiting for an acoustic/on-air appearance on Philadelphia’s #1 morning show The Preston & Steve Show on December 5th.
