On Sunday March 9th, Chicago's NOVEMBERS DOOM will be filming a video
for the song "Rain" from their latest CD, "The Novella Reservoir."
"This is something we have been talking about doing since recording
the CD, and we finally have things ready to do so," says singer Paul
Kuhr. "We have chosen a specific style and look to this video, which
should should be visually interesting to watch. We'll make this
available to see on the web soon after editing is complete, and it will
also be included on the upcoming DVD "The Novella Vosselaar: Live in
Belgium" later in the year."
NOVEMBERS DOOM has also confirmed their appearance at this years
Graspop Metal Meeting on June 27-29, 2008 at De Boeretand in Dessel,
Belgium.
"This is an absolute honor to be invited to perform, as this is one of
the largest music festivals in Europe (quite possibly the world.) Last
years attendance was just over 120,000 people. The opportunity for us
is simply amazing, and we're looking forward to playing in Belgium once
again, being a part of this stunning line up!"
In other news, THE END RECORDS will reissue two of the earlier albums
from the band this spring, both with new artwork, remastered and with
bonus tracks.
The albums being reissued are: the 1995 debut "Amid its Hallowed Mirth"
and 1999's sophomore effort "Of Sculptured Ivy and Stone Flowers." Also
scheduled for release in 2008 is the reissue of 2000's "The Knowing."
