Irish Rock Band THE ANSWER Releases Single "Tonight" on June 29th Following International Success of Album 'Everyday Demons'

The single "Tonight" off THE ANSWER’s album 'Everyday Demons' is an uplifting rock anthem that has been wowing audiences at live shows across the US and Europe. "Tonight" impacts at radio on June 29th in the US with an official radio add date of July 7th. The band plans to release a music video for the track that features never before seen backstage footage of their life on the road with AC/DC. 'Everyday Demons' was released on March 31st on THE END RECORDS, distributed through SONY RED and was recorded in summer ’08 in Los Angeles with John Travis (Kid Rock, Static-X, Killing Heidi, etc.) producing. Since its release six weeks ago the album has already sold 80,000 units worldwide.

THE ANSWER has spent the last five months fulfilling their duties as the opening act for AC/DC on the Black Ice World Tour. They finished the 42-concert tour of the United States on January 31st and are currently supporting the Black Ice tour stadium European run. This summer the band will return to the US on the confirmed stadium / arena dates.

"Tonight" serves as a calling card for the straight-forward blend of classic rock and blues that has become THE ANSWER’s signature sound - a sound that European audiences have enjoyed over the last several years and one that American audiences are just getting introduced to. THE ANSWER, four boys from Downpatrick, Northern Ireland signed a contract with the legendary Australian rock label, Albert Productions in 2005 and brought out their debut album, 'Rise,' in 2006. Although it’s their sophomore release abroad, 'Everyday Demons' marks their American debut.

'Everyday Demons' can currently be purchased digitally and at all major retail outlets. THE ANSWER’s track "Demon Eyes" was chosen by iTunes as a single of the week. The band is currently a part of iTunes "Next Big Thing" program.
