New Tour: HELIOTROPES & BAD POP // Tickets On Sale Now!
NORTH AMERICAN TOUR
"What they've put out - what's on the way - is some pretty compelling stuff." -Rolling Stone
"...front woman Jessica Numsuwankijkul explores the experience of disappointment or struggle
in a more subdued way, through easy rock inspired riffs and the recurring metaphor of war." -Lenny
"If you've ever hungered to hear Hope Sandoval fronting a psych-rock combo
just as hypnotic as Mazzy Star but much heavier and murkier,
Brooklyn's Heliotropes fit the bill perfectly." -Village Voice
"While Heliotropes are known for chunky riffs,
their first single 'Easy' shows the band's softer side." -Brooklyn Vegan

Heliotropes combine sludgy metal guitar tones, introspective shoegaze interludes, psychedelic drone, and atmospheric harmonies to create a sound that’s as equally hard to pin down as it is alluring, earning them the title of Village Voice’s Best Garage Band Of 2014.
Heliotropes is comprised of founding member/songwriter/vocalist Jessica Numsuwankijkul, along with a rotating cast of collaborators, including drummer Gregg Giuffre, bassist Richard Thomas, and guitarist Ricci Swift, who are all featured on the band’s upcoming album.
The band’s first recorded offering came with 2012’s Ribbons 7”, followed the next year by their debut LP entitled A Constant Sea, which was named by Mother Jones as one of the 10 Best Albums Of 2013. Since then, the band has performed on the road with Esben And The Witch and toured nationally with stops at South By Southwest, Firefly and Culture Collide, sharing the stage with a far-reaching variety of bands including Thurston Moore, The Geto Boys, Matt and Kim, Kurt Vile, Parquet Courts, The Black Angels and The Raveonettes.
In 2015, Heliotropes signed to The End Records to release their second full-length album Over There That Way, July 15, 2016.
