|FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE New York, NY (July XX, 2013) - The best party rock album of the year is here withHey! Hello!’s debut release available now via The End Records. The group is comprised of US vocalist Victoria Liedtkeand UK multi instrumentalist Ginger Wildheart (The Wildhearts). The ten song opus, produced by Russ Russell, features a slew of up-tempo, pop-party rockers including the feel-good-hit-of-the-summer, lead single “Swimwear”. The video for this track was shot in a single day this past summer and directed by Derek Doublin with the help of Rombu Creative LLC. ‘Swimwear’ boasts dynamic visual footage with special FX; individual frames of the video were printed out onto over 3,000 sheets of recycled paper, from there, each piece was crushed, shredded, burned, chewed up, spat out, sunburned, sandblasted, scratched, stained, torn and taped. Each sheet was then creatively recaptured frame by frame and reinserted into the video, juxtaposed with footage from Red Epic camera. All the paper used was immediately recycled after post production was completed.
Announced on BBC, the album also hit the coveted #1 position on the official Top 40 Rock album charts in the UK.
Ginger says, “Hey! Hello! allowed me to enter the world of lyrical fiction – much in the vein of Sparks, who are a massive influence on Victoria and I.”
